The 32nd Great Cow Harbor 10K Run will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009. This event is being organized as the biggest Cow Harbor Race yet. Join the over 5,000 participants, who will run through the village streets of Northport, New York. This race combines small-town ambience with national-class competition. Set in Northport Village, a pre-revolutionary ship-building center, the course offers a series of rolling green hills, a panoramic view of the Long Island Sound, and a down hill finish, as well as a "world-class" post race party.

Directions: Long Island Expressway (L.I.E.) to Exit 51, Deer Park Ave. north to Jericho Turnpike (Route 25). East on Jericho Turnpike for one block to Elwood Rd. North on Elwood Rd. to Northport High School. Allow 20 minutes travel time from the L.I.E. to Laurel Avenue School, Northport.
